Yen Han Ballet Productions perform “The Firebird” at Tonhalle

Yen Han Ballet Productions is delighted to present “The Firebird” together with the Tonhalle Orchester in its Family Concert program on March 6th 11.15 and 14.15.
Yen Han Ballet Productions will perform a unique version of “The Firebird” danced by Yen Han, Filipe Portugal, and the professional program of our school. This performance, specially tailored for families, is directed by Yi-Chen Lin, with Sara Taubman-Hildebrand as storyteller, accompanied by the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich.
The Firebird is a ballet and orchestral concert work by Igor Stravinsky based on a famous Russian fairy tale. Who can save the captive princess? The children are actively involved in the story - they help to free the beautiful Zarewna and experience the magic of the glowing feathers. All the princesses in the hall are actively invited to dance. Light effects and artificial fire bowls make the family concert an experience for the whole family.
